Toshiba - Excite 10 LE Model AT205-T32I dying

Excite Tablets - TOSHIBA FORUMS - forums.toshiba.com
After less than 3 years I think my Excite 10LE is on its last legs.  It started a few weeks ago with random shutdowns and keyboard issues.  The keyboard would not appear when doing an internet search or email input.  Tried several Google keyboard upates, clear cache, etc.  Nothing worked and then it started crashing and restarting was stuck on the "fireworks" screen.  Resorted to a factory reset, several times.  On a couple of restarts it would also get stuck on that intro screen.  When I did make it thru to setting the system back up I again could not get the Android keyboard to appear for input.  Pairng a bluetooth keyboard also did not work and it did before.  At the present time I have manage to get into the initial setup again and upon checking the availble apps see that the Android keyboard app's stats show that; 0 processes and 1 service, 0.00B and Restarting.  And if I go into an app that needs input it reboots.  I should also note that sometimes I hear a clicking sound after swiping the screen. Can anything be done to recover it or is it dead?  Is it worth repairing?  At the moment I'm thinking not.  ThanksRPS
