Stop Audio Pause on External Speaker

Windows Phone Source - winsource.com
I think it's really good that Android is able to detect when the sound is too lound while something is plugged into the audio jack. It's great knowing it's willing to warn me before I turn it past a specific volume. The only problem is, sometimes I have it plugged into an external speaker via an aux cable, and the frequent pauses are super annoying. Is there a way to tell it otherwise and stop the pausing? It seems fairly obvious to me it can't tell the difference between headphones and a speaker, which is something I feel it should be able to see.
