Gionee E3 MIUI v5 Development

Dear Friends,

I have ported a version of MIUI from Jiayu G4 to our Gionee Elife E3. The ROM is functional and some screen shots are shown below:

This is an experiment and do NOT use this version unless you know what you are doing. I will NOT be responsible for any losses. You are encouraged to share feedback and make it better. This project can't be completed by me alone, hence need your support in development and optimization of the ROM.

How to update:

1. Boot into CWM

2. Format data/factory reset

3. Update from ZIP

4. Reboot

Known Issues:

I have been using this ROM for over a week now. Have not found any issues apart from the folowing,

1. Cannot set the default data connection - It always uses SIM1 for data connection.

2. Can't mount internal SD card. Only external is mounted. In fact, it is better to say that either can be mounted, but not both. If you don't have external SD, you will have to adjust the vold.fstab to mount internal SD.
