A500 Won't Boot
I have had my Acer A500 for about two years and now it won't turn on.
I left it sitting on my kitchen table when I went away for a weekend; when i got back, I plugged it in and let it charge over night. The next morning I tried turning it on with no luck.
When I press the power button the white light will turn on, but nothing shows on the screen. Holding down the button turns the light back off. If i have it "on" and press the reset button the light will turn off for a second and then turn back on. The screen still stays blank.
I have been googling this for days, but only finding people saying it's in APX mode. But, how did it get that way? ADB doesn't see it. A500 manager doesn't see it. I have installed the drivers from ACER. When I plug my tablet in to my computer, the only thing it sees is the ACER picasso USB boot-recovery driver.
Anyone please? I really can't afford repairs or a new tablet.
