Consistency in billing with auto-renew? I may be switching
Likely switching to GoPhone at the end of January. I just wanted to know for those on auto-pay, how is the consistency in AT&T taking the money in terms of the day they taking it. I hear the billing dates change sometime with GoPhone. Can you sign up for Auto-pay with a credit card and not a bank? Have you ever been double billeed. I understand you have 60 days after a missed payment to pay your bill before losing your account/number. Also, if wanted to upgrade or downgrade their plan when would be the best time to do it.
I had AT&T postpaid for a little over 10 years and due to consistent billing I did autopay for about 5 years with no issues. I switched to Cricket last December, 2015 and also loved the simplicity and consistency of billing on the 1st of the month also with autopay. No problems
I just wanted to know what Gophone was like. It seems alot of people on the site pay manually. Hearing the words "refill" associated with a cell phone account is weird to me as I associate that with the pay as you go or temporary phones from the smaller mvnos. I just need to be billed regularly, don't want to do anything manually, as like most, I always need my phone number. I assume AT&T postpaid can do it (if I remember correctly) and Cricket can do it. GoPhone should be able to also right?
