iTunes. How can i quickly locate ALL missing songs in my library
So i have a reasonable iTunes library of around 40,000 tracks. Last year at one point i dragged some tracks from iTunes onto my desktop to add to my new Android phone. Afterwards i delete the songs from desktop and for some reason it also deleted the tracks from my iTunes library. Weird.
Anyway, i have a vague memory of which tracks have been deleted, but i was wondering if there is a simple way that i can get all the exclamation points to display on my library at once for missing tracks? I don't fancy having to click on each track one at a time. It doesn't help that iTunes doesn't remember the exclamation marks once you shut down.
I did read some advice on creating a Play List and then a Smart List, but couldn't get it to work.
