Phone Creates Folders in Windows Automatically
I am having a strange issue here that seems to be happening fairly regularly. I tried to find some information online, but I can't seem to find any mention of it, no matter how I search.
We have users at work that are plugging in their phones to charge. Sometimes, a series of folders is created no a network shared drive.
The folders are called Advalres, Inmail, Outmail, Phone and Syslog.
They are created with the Active Directory user as the owner.
Anyone seen this, know why it happens, or perhaps how I can stop it? Thanks.
At least one phone is an iPhone. The client systems are all windows 7; the server on which the actual shares are stored is Server 2008 R2.
