Sharing Apple Watch (swapping between 2 phones) - Closed/Moved
So my situation:
My wife wants an Apple Watch for the holidays this year. She's big into fitness and wants everything being tracked, especially heart rate type stuff for when she's running or doing things at the gym. From my perspective, I just want a good Golf GPS watch to use like 10-ish times a year. So I want to avoid buying her a 300+ Apple Watch, and buying me a 300+ good Golf GPS. So I'm hoping that I can just buy a single Apple Watch, and just those 10 times a year, take my Wife's Apple Watch onto the golf course.
1. Can this be done?
I know the watch gets paired with an iPhone, so it's primarily designed to function for a single person and their phone.
2. How easy/difficult is it to just swap it to pair to a different phone?
I'd have to do this before my golf outings, and then again back to her phone when I get home. Hopefully, this isn't a situation where I need to like do backup/restores of like all the apps each time back and forth.
My dream would be if the Apple Watch was designed to allow 2 people to use it, with like some kind of Profile Swap/Sharing feature. So at the toggle of a button it just switches everything back and forth based on the person using it. I doubt they will ever do that because they just want people to buy 2 devices.
