Straight Talk VZW Towers CDMA e4gt 4.0.4 want to upgrade to JB w/o losing fla
So i have an Epic 4g Touch running 4.0.4 Sprint rooted FF18. I want it to run Jelly Bean or CM10.1
It has been flashed from Sprint to Straight Talk (VZW) CDMA service. I had it flashed via remote the other day and it runs pretty well although the Verizon 3g data is pretty slow at times. I want to flash this phone to have Jelly Bean 4.1.2 or even 4.2 if possible and I am afraid i might lose the flash that has been done to the CDMA handset when i clear the data as part of the flash process.
I installed a Galaxy 2 Mini rom to it and it was very smooth, tho data did not work nor did calling, and i got a 'sim card error' even tho its a CDMA handset. WIFI would not work either. I had to revert back to a d710 rooted odin package to get back to a point where i could restore using titanium backup.
(Maybe i applied the GSM rom to the cdma handset by mistake?) I had no connectivity and i could not turn wifi on with the Note 2 Mini rom.
So in short-
I am looking to find out if i can just download an appropriate JellyBean AOSP or AOKP rom for the Epic4GTouch and retain my settings or if i need to do something special beyond titanium backup, clear cache, wipe cache, install rom, and reboot like i used to do on the T-Mobile t989.
Running Stock Sprint 4.0.4 ICS FF18 on GT-9100 Epic 4g Touch.
Ideally i want Jelly Bean AOSP or CM10.1 running on this handset.
Thanks in advance for your help.
