TF300t - TF201 - TF700t - why so many problems?
First of all, I am owner of a Asus Transformer Infinity TF700T and am fully happy with it. Really, am using this device serveral hours a day. It has completely replaced my notebook for both private as well as business use.
Before the TF700T, I had the Transformer Prime TF201 and, apart from a non-working GPS and limited WiFi reception, I had literally ZERO issues with it. That same TF201 now has my father as a new and very happy owner who has had no problems using it.
My sister has been using the TF300T for both private and college use and this one also gets to see a lot of use.
So, that's THREE Asus Transformers in our family alone, just doing what they are supposed to do and with ZERO problems so far.
So, why is it that I am constantly reading about other people having problems and issues with THEIR Asus all the time. Cracked screens, Transformers coming apart, slow WiFi, low battery life, unexpected reboots, crashing aplications etc. etc. etc.
Is this because Asus has such a lousy quality control in their factory?
Is this the reasons why I am bombarded with overhyped Apple iPad and Samsung tablet commercial but have never seen a SINGLE Asus Transformer commercial?
Can anyone shed some light on this?
I am VERY happy with my Asus TF700T and wouldn't trade it with any other tablet, specificially because of that simply brilliant keyboard docking that simply no other manufacturer has been able to match so far.
Am I crazy when I recommend the Asus above any other tablet to people that express an interest in buying a tablet?
